A Milestone in our Travels

We purchased our used motor home in 1997 and it had 31,000 miles on it. We have had so many wonderful trips over the years with our boys and their friends. On Sunday, as we were driving to Gainsville, Florida, our odometer hit 100,000 miles! It's hard to believe that almost 14 years have passed and that we've put that many miles on our "home on wheels."

Here are a couple of pictures from inside so you can see the layout. In the back, there are  4 bunks (which was ideal for our 4 boys). We have a small kitchen area and then upfront, there is a couch, table and bed area  over the cab. As we think back over the years, we've had as many as 11 (including 9 teenage boys) travel out to Colorado in our motor home. Now, with just the two of us, our motor home feels very spacious.

Greg and I both have wonderful memories taking "road trips" with the families we grew up with, so getting into a vehicle, getting on the road and traveling to another part of the country is just in our blood. The motor home life has been a wonderful way carry on this tradition with our family.
